Not a bad extension but not worth what is being asked for the premium option - $10 a year to have customised icons? I don't spend all day looking at this thing admiring its appearance - it gets about five seconds screen time maximum before I click on a bookmark. The rest of the features are of little or no interest. Make it a one off $5 payment and I'll think about it.

[update] Suddenly, Homey is resetting every time I reboot and I have to reconfigure it. It is hardly saving me time anymore. I'll probably bail out soon unless this is somehow resolved.

I love this new tab extension.
It makes everything more organized.
The only things I would add or change are:

1. The ability to sync your bookmarks between various computers
2. Make it default to keep using the address bar. Not the search
2. This extension would be better if its a one time payment deal to have the pro options. Making it a subscription makes no sense. I would gladly spend $5 bucks one time than having a subscription.

Other than that, its great!

Overall, a really beautiful home page but would love to see a few things added. The ability to automatically open links in a new tab (not having to press CTRL). This can be set up by default on the Google search page but doesn't work for this. The ability to control the position of the shortcuts on the page. More widgets (Google Calendar, Email, Video). Even as is, I love it. Great work, keep innovating!

Very good - for work and otherwise.
For starters, I have seen many previous reviews where features were requested, and it seems most of those requests have either been fulfilled, or the features were overlooked to begin with.
You CAN:
Use your own gifs, mp4s for your own live backgrounds, as well as other files for still backgrounds.
Choose from the many live wallpapers that they have available, and even more options for $1.49 a month, as well as some other perks.
Upload an image from your computer to use as the icon for your bookmark, should it fail to load the site.
Create folders to store bookmarks in groups, such as for work or other.
Set your weather by location, zip code, or city
Change the daily quote to a certain vibe,(funny, inspiring, etc)
Add your own personal notes to help you remember things
Access all google apps, just as easily as your folders
View your history, extensions, downloads, chrome web store and background gallery with one click

You cannot: Add other widgets or mini addons - which has been perfectly fine.

I truly enjoy this extension - have turned many of my friends to using it and I will continue to be around for future updates. Thank you for the incredible tool!
