Block/Hide comment sections across the web (Social Media, News Articles, Blogs etc).

By default, NoComment hides all comments on all websites where it detects them. In the options you can change this to not hide comments by default.

It also includes an "Allowlist" and a "Blocklist", where you can specify URLs/URL patterns that will allow or block those certain websites only.

For example:

- If you add "https://twitter.com" to the Blocklist, you will not see any comments on Twitter, but you will still see them elsewhere on all other sites.
- If you wanted to hide all comments except Facebook, you would add "https://facebook.com" to your Allowlist.

People may choose to hide comments for a myriad of reasons including

- Loss of productivity that could spent doing more important or positive things
- Stress/mental health issues due to constant negativity exposed on many social media sites & news articles.

And many more.

楊雁雯 2021-05-27 In my case, it didn`t work on facebook. I can still see comments on it. Can you help me to fix it?
Mike H 2021-01-24 Works but doesn't work which is a bit of a pain. I primarily got this to hide the toxic comments on youtube which it does however it also blocks the comments for channels I've whitelisted unless I'm using the wildcard wrong which shouldn't be the case as it does kind of work but requires refreshing the video page which is rather annoying. So to get comments on a channels videos to appear I have to load the video, without the comments due to them being blocked, then I have to refresh the page and the comments will appear. Also the settings page is a small floating window which I have to scroll left and right and up and down to change the settings which makes it very annoying to do. Overall the extension does it's job but is annoying and not worth the hassle if I'm honest.
Maria S 2020-11-05 The plugin describes itself as blocking 'comment sections' on 'social media, news, etc.' In reality it is blocking way more than that. This extension blocks medical provider comments on MyChart (a commonly used medical portal that allows communication between patients and their providers), I assume because it has the word comment in the header or something. It is not obvious to the user that a section of the page they are viewing is being hidden by a chrome plugin. This is dangerous. Users don't realize it's affecting the site, don't know to turn it off, and are missing medical information that their doctors specifically sent to them. Please fix this. At the very least - this plugin should be replacing sections with a 'hidden by nocomments extension' text instead of outright hiding them with no indication, so users have a chance to notice the issue on important sites.
Vivek Shah 2020-07-19 Nice extension works well. Some of the flaws in the extension :- 1. But it doesn't work on discuss.codechef.com. Check out any of the blog in that and comments are still visible. 2. It also hides the comment of my code in code editor online. This should be fixed.
Y. M. 2020-02-09 The best comments blocker. Only this one works everywhere. Other extension didn't block many comments which had a bad impact on my mental health. This extension cures me.
