U can stop ringing, go to chrome and click on 3 dots on top-right corner - more tools - Extensions - find that extension and turn off that radio button.

Actualización al volver a probar la extensión 2 años después (punto número 3):

1) Las instrucciones en español han sido traducidas directamente del Google Translator.
2) Cuando aparece el pop-up de la alarma en la esquina inferior derecha y das a cancelar (eliminar alarma) desaparece el pop-up, pero la alarma sigue sonando eternamente. Tienes que cerrar el navegador para poder apagarla...
3) Ni siquiera aparece el pop-up. Tienes que ir al desplegable de las alarmas configuradas. Aparece una campana moviéndose, y cuando pulsas la alarma sigue sonando ad aeternum...
