Opens the active item in a background tab when the user presses a customizable hotkeys (default: 'o' and 'v') in NewsBlur.
This extension allows you to open a link in a background tab by pressing a customizable hotkey (default 'o' or 'v'). This feature used to work without an extension, but it broke starting with Chrome 41.
Be sure to reload the NewsBlur page after installing or changing the hotkey(s).

Good extension, but not perfect. Before this feature was broken in Chrome 41, opening more than one tab in the background would que up the tabs, adding each new tab to the right of the last one. |
