You no longer need to open Gmail or Google Calendar to access Google Tasks. Extension allows you to open Google Tasks in new tab.

I love Google Tasks. It's a fantastic and easy to-do app. I also love being focused and productive. I don't like to have to open Gmail or Google Calendar to access tasks. I only need my Google Tasks and nothing else!

Does that sound familiar to you?

So I created this simple extension. By clicking on the extension icon, a new tab will open with standalone Google Tasks and nothing else 🤗

The extension provides access to the original Google Tasks app and supports all features:
• Starred tasks.
• Displaying tasks from Google Workspace.
• Set time for tasks.
• Sorting and drag and drop tasks.

Supported with ❤️ by Manganum gang.

Hey there, Pleas enable this extension to use dark theme. White page is really annoying.

Good.

It is the only extension that works with the new Google Room Tasks. Essentially it is just the GMail sidebar on a separate page.

— Need it to enable Tasks to be saved as Chrome App/Shortcut that can open in a new tab.
— Wish it allowed me to add a task from the extension.
