Remove the clutter from Google Street view for cleaner screen grabs

Screen grabs of street view are a common sight on many news websites. A crime report or other news story is often accompanied by a Street View Screen shot of the location. The problem is that the user interface can make getting a 'clean' screenshot difficult. Clean Street view is a small extension that removes the user interface elements so you can take better screenshots. It works by overriding the CSS code to 'hide' the elements.

The original idea came from a post by UK Journalist and lecturer Karl Hodge. He identified the CSS elements on the page which are used in the plugin. Note: Clean Street view doesn't remove the street names of direction arrows. These are baked into the image.

It didn't even work.

It won't hide the cursor arrow overlay and road names, but it works perfectly, and i think it's nice to have a way to revert back to show the UI after cleaning it without reloading the page.

Works perfectly for Street View. Recently, Street View added floating symbols of Restaurant, Hotel, Government Building, etc and the extension won't remove them. Would be nice to have an update! Excellent extension :)
