A number of months ago, I had a horrible experience on the internet. I encountered an opinion which was not like mine. But that happens sometimes; I was fine with that. What really made it awful was the person tried to claim that they had a unique perspective on something as a result of having been raised in a different background! I tried and tried and tried, but after a couple seconds I still couldn't see things from their point of view. I eventually called them a globalist and left. I don't know why I did that; I'm not opposed to Globalism or globalization or anything, I just panicked. I tried to forget about it over the next few days, and it mostly worked, but it kept lingering there.

Then it happened. I was browsing Voat and I saw someone mention this new show called... I mean I don't want to say it, but it was called something like "Dear People." It was horrible. Suddenly this show was popular and I had to hear about it all the time, and every time it was mentioned the title was like this tiny, terrifying reminder that someone had a perspective on life that differed from mine. I couldn't make it stop; I called the studio, I called Netflix, and I called the President, who was at least a little bit sympathetic but said he couldn't do anything about it yet, and nothing was working. Then I found this chrome extension. It's changed me life. Thanks to this extension I never again have to be reminded that some people's worldviews were shaped by cultural and social forces other than the ones I grew up in, or that maybe some people have been discriminated against on the basis of skin color and whatnot. This extension is exactly what I needed to feel ok about my life choices and about my country's social landscape again, and I recommend it for literally everyone. Thanks in part to this extension, I am 100% certain that everyone can benefit from this extension in exactly the same way I have.
