My 1st use:
Neither show all comments nor download comments appeared to do anything.
2nd use: I navigated back to the post & comments in a separate tab. Not sure if this made a difference or if the original problem is an initialization problem.
show all comments loaded many comments but stopped at "122 of 188". Manually clicking the "load more" link once appears to have loaded the remaining comments.
download comments appears to have worked.
Looking through the downloaded text, I see that none of the un-expanded comments are shown. By this, I mean the 3rd level and lower that show up with a Load nn replies link.
OVERALL: Certainly useful. I didn't get to experiment with it during a live "chat" so it's unclear how much help it will be in that situation.

It has a lot of potential and the export are relatively clean (replies in comments can be a bit finicky to manage) and the "show all comments" feature works up to 90 or so comments.
All in all this is a very useful extension but there are teething problems.
