ExpressVPN: VPN proxy for a better internet

I am very happy with my ExpressVPN regarding operating from my Ubuntu Linux machine though after installing the Chrome Extension, trying to use it, it states "App Not Found" offering a button to "Install Desktop App" which opens up an otherwise helpful page with no reference whatsoever of a "Desktop App".

Attempts with Raspberry pi 4 running Raspbian fail at the "expressvpn connect" stage, with no guidance on the cause. The Chrome extension on the pi is also useless, attempting to dumb down (for Windoze users perhaps) any helpful feedback to what might change things or what actually failed.

It's REALLY great that ExpressVPN offer to alternative platforms but they are never going to be able to usefully get them reliably operational by stating "no official support" and that no fixes will be provided. What is the point of offering the product to the more interesting side of computing if it heads down a dark, unlit alleyway to who-knows where...?

Perhaps my subscription was wasted after all... :-(

Amazing VPN. I like it because it makes me feel protected. The VPN does have trouble connecting sometimes but most of the time it's automatic.
