Media controls when watching Formula 1 on F1 TV

An unofficial upgrade to your F1 TV experience!

When you have multiple tabs open with the race, the map, the data screen, or on-boards cameras, this extension will synchronize your other tabs whenever you seek in a video! Also, when you pause or resume the video, your other tabs will as well!

This extension also adds keyboard shortcuts for when you're watching! The same shortcuts as YouTube:

j / left arrow: Skip back 5/10 seconds
k / right arrow: Skip forward 5/10 seconds
Space: Pause / Resume playback
m: Mute / unmute
f: Full-screen
1–9: Skip to 10%–90% of the video
Home: Jump to beginning

The app is amazing, and I love this because I watch alot of F1 at my work in a gas station where all I do is sit behind the counter. The only problem is that F1TV is still stupid, and sometimes it decides "No, you can't do that" and just black screens the video, and then you have to refresh the site and find the spot you left off when you paused. F1TV's video player basically continues to be a pain.

If you install this while watching F1TV you will need to reload the page for the extension to work.
But after that it works just great, saves the day. Thank you very much for writing this!!!

Works! you can skip 10 seconds using arrow keys, it's said that "It also synchronizes the video in multiple windows so the track layout and the timing screens will be at the same spot in the race." Haven't tried that yet!
