Nook is a Chrome extension created for people who love to listen to Animal Crossing's hourly music all day, every day.

Firefox edition: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nook/

This extension was inspired by the "Animal Crossing Music" extension. Since the development of that extension is now rather stagnant, I decided to create a new one.

Nook seeks to improve upon previous extensions with similar functionality. Below is a list of some improvements.

- Clean UI.
- Options are in a popup window, allowing music to be adjusted on-the-fly.
- Tiny extension size (below 100kb at the time of writing)
- Tiny sound size (90% of hourly songs are under 1mb)
- All sounds aren't downloaded at once, and Nook only downloads what it needs.
- Rain sound effects.
- Accessible.

Hudson Elizabeth 2022-03-30 The fact that this extension is up and running in 2022 is an absolute miracle. It helps me stay on task and transition into different times of day. As someone who has a disability that messes with my sense of time and planning: this is wonderful. Its such a gentle and efficient way of implementing a schedule. To the people complaining about lags or glitches: this is a free app. if you have problems with the results: maybe bring that up directly with the dev or do your own research! It has the soundscapes for MANY animal crossing games hour by hour. of course theres going to be lag! its an extension! again, its a free and expansive extension. Thanks to the dev for all your hard work 3 High praises all around. It does the job. If you cant handle a few bumps and glitches: stream it!
