I use this app to text from my desk top. I tried to login of Friday and received this error - NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID - I have tried to reach them since then with ZERO luck. I paid for a lifetime subscription and am feeling very ignored. If this does not get fixed ASAP I will need to find another texting platform. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

It's a great app for "text from anywhere" killer feature, it's got a nice user interface, individual color controls for each Contact. There are still missing Contacts & Display features that aren't dealbreakers, but their absence impairs much greater usability:

(1) 2-COLUMN CONVERSATION LIST MODE: where COLUMN 1 (narrow) always displays on top, showing just the most recent CONTACT PHOTOS... while COLUMN 2 (wide) displays the standard RECENT CONVERSATIONS LIST, each row showing Sender's photo in Column 1, and in Column 2 the Sender's Name and Text snippet from the Message.

When you tap to select a message to read, you see the normal scrolling list of Recent Text Exchanges between you and the Sender. It shows in Column 2, while Column 1 does not change or go away. Except the contact photo for the selected text message is highlighted to indicate this is the sender of the CURRENT MESSAGE you're reading. By having COL 1 always displaying the photo list, this lets you see when one of the other contacts has sent you a new message— with a Notification Dot appearing on the Contacts indicating it's a new Unread Message. So while you're focused on reading or replying to the currently selected text message in Column 2, you can tap a Contact photo in Column 1 with the UNREAD dot. This displays that contact's message in Col 2.... while your Reply Message Draft for the first message is saved and you can come back to it anytime to continue. It's a commonly used SMS interface, and Pulse should use it.

(2) separate issue. CONTACT PHOTOS never show at all on the web browser version. They only show on your phone, which hampers your ability to quickly identify in the web app if a new message is from someone you recognize. Luke answered me maybe a year or 2 ago saying "it's not a high priority, and not sure I'll ever implement it..."

Cannot text from computer. No support. No help. Nothing, since app was sold off.

Loved Google's Messages for Web, until it started making me nuts with it's constant disconnects and asking that I need to scan the code on both my chromebooks, for it to work for a few hours then rinse and repeat.

Pulse does everything MforW did, without the drama!

Paying for the lifetime subscription for something that actually works is far better than having a free application that frustrates me.

Great app. Been using it for a couple of years on my phone and added it to my tablet and laptop as a lifetime subscriber. Very well designed and implemented with a host of features. Developer is very responsive. As far as I am concerned, Pulse is the best SMS app out there.
