This is a great highlighting extension that adds so much value to Readwise. As opposed to other web highlighting tools, the text you highlight here gets pulled into Readwise which in turn can be used in all of your note-taking apps like Obsidian (my tool of choice), Roam and others. Thanks for making this available! |

Simple to use (as it should be). I love that, by directly integrating with Readwise, adding, deleting, and commenting on highlights are directly synced. |

At least in Vivaldi, it causes Vivaldi to add an auto-start on login item on MacOS (without asking). Disabling this extension stops the unwanted behaviour. Perhaps this implies it is doing some background comms work... for example sending every URL back to Readwise even if no highlighting is captured? I don't know - that's speculation. I just know that this is the extension I had to DISABLE to make Vivaldi work in proper expected behaviour again and not auto-run in the background. For those who normally auto-run Blink/chromium in the background, you might not notice that this extension is toggling that. |
