"Save to nvALT" saves pages from Chrome to nvALT. Pages are saved in clean Markdown. No fluff.

To use "Save to nvALT" you have to first install nvALT.

# How do I use this?

Click the extension button to save whole page as a note. You can also do this by right clicking on the page and picking "Save note with page." Pages are converted to Markdown and saved as plain text.

If you want to save a section of the page, right click and pick "Save note with selected text".

nvALT is a note taking application for Mac OS X. It is an improved version of the original Notational Velocity.

Simple and productive. Just like nvALT. No need for all the fancy bloated features of other clippers.

Saving selections fails to capture links contained in the selection. Instead of using a context menu item to save a selection, it would be smarter to have the main button check if there is a an active selection and save it, and if not, fall back to the whole page. A keyboard shortcut to trigger the saving would be much appreciated.
