The add-on is finally working again with the new Facebook, thank goodness! It now goes to your mobile friends list instead of on Facebook's main site, due to how long the latter now takes to fully load your list if you have a large one now, unlike with their old layout which was far more manageable. The scan only takes a couple minutes to do this via mobile Facebook, depending on how many profiles you have on your list, give or take. One interesting thing it now does (which is probably more due to a Facebook flaw than anything) is that it now counts people who deactivate as "lost" ones, so you'll have a longer list of friends who weren't actually removed to go through if many of them shut down their accounts in between scans, and will have to check one by one to see who, if anyone truly unfriended you when you're notified of who went missing. This still isn't so bad (despite having a lesser accuracy than before as a result), except that if a person deactivates, and removes you before you had a chance to re-scan your list if they return, you won't know if they unfriended you if you rely on just this add-on for this purpose. But other than that, this now apparently works as good as it seemingly can these days, and thank goodness Unfriend Checker is back, and useable at last now too!

UPDATE: as of November 26, 2020, developer stopped updating this extension. Still no update for the Facebook redesign layout. Extension is still broken and no longer works. Look elsewhere.

UPDATE: as of August 19, 2020, this extension no longer works because of the new default Facebook updated layout. I hope the developer updates it to work with the new Facebook design. Until then, this does not work currently.


works as advertised, as of April 15, 2020, works better so far than all the other extensions that hasn't been updated since last year 2019. will report back if I come across any issues.
