Awesome and useful tool. Some UX(easier grouping) upgrade would be nice.

works really well and keeps my tabs fast and smooth even with 10+ extensions downloaded. Good enough to download on multiple devices I have. Thanks. :)

It has nothing more than other extensions switchers/managers. Missing: sync and grouping extensions. It shows group extension on the example picture, but not in the reality.

YES, YOU CAN STILL GROUP EXTENSIONS!
Nice & simple extension organizer, only reason for the 4-stars instead of 5 is because there are NO INSTRUCTIONS, so people wind up leaving bad reviews about not being able to create groups, sort, etc.
HOW TO MANUALLY SORT EXTENSIONS:
(this is for Windows, but I imagine OS is something similar)
1. Find the extension you want to move/organize. Hover your mouse over the extension's icon. You will notice your cursor will change from the standard arrow to the 4-way move arrow.
2. With that 4-way arrow over the icon, click the extension and drag it up or down the list to where ever you want to move it to.

HOW TO SORT EXTENSIONS INTO GROUPS:
1. Following step 1 above, click & drag your chosen extension all the way to the top of the list and drop it at the very top - on top of the word "Extensions". This will move your chosen extension above the dotted line, into a new group just referred to as "Group".
2. Drag & drop other extensions' icons into the new group you've just created.
3. To change the name of your new group from "Group" to whatever you like, click the little pencil icon to the right of the word "Group" and rename.
4. To create another new group, drag an extension and drop it at the very top of the list again - but this time it will be dropped on the 1st group you created. New groups will always be made by dropping an extension on top of the 1st heading on the list - whether it be the default "Extensions" group, or the most recent custom group you made.

LIMITATIONS:
- As far as I can tell, there's no way to automatically A-Z sort the list.
- You cannot move groups around, only move extensions in/out/up/down the groups.
- Groups need to have at least 1 extension in them to exist. Removing all extensions from a group deletes the group (including the default ones*).
- New groups are only added to the top of the list, so if you want to have your custom groups listed in alphabetical order, you're probably better off creating all your groups 1st, renaming them alphabetically, THEN adding the applicable extensions into their respective groups.
- You cannot rename the 4 default groups (Extensions, Hosted Apps, Packaged Apps, Legacy Packaged Apps).
- * there's a bug where the Chrome apps can't be moved out of their default apps groups (Packaged Apps & Legacy Packaged Apps). You can move them out, but as soon as you leave the Extensions Switcher panel and go back in, the apps are all sorted back into their original groups. The exception to this seems to be if you remove ALL apps & extensions out of ALL default groups at once (as in, you don't leave the the Extensions Switcher panel until all apps/extensions are out of all default folders & moved into custom folders you've made).

The grouping feature isn't there anymore. This isn't any better than the built-in extensions manager.

No "Are you sure you want to disable all of your extensions at once?" confirmation message when you click on a poorly labeled "Extensions" checkbox at the top. Rally poorly designed with absolutely no sense about user experience.
