This used to work great for me a couple of years back. Now that I've reinstalled it, I click on it and literally nothing happens. Shame because it used to save a lot of time, but as of now it's pretty useless. |

It works great most of the time, but sometimes it struggles to login or even open. Have been using it for about 1.5 years now. When it works, it's great, but when it doesn't, it is really annoying. |

I have been using Mendeley for more than 5 years, but the older it gets, the worse is everything... Extension, app, word plugin - everything works slowly, the design became annoying, I have to sign in to all the three things even if I am signed-in already in one of them. Especially this signing-in process in the extension... Never saves the password although I checked and re-checked my setting in the browser and all the other passwords are saved fine. Moving articles in the application to trash every time is a disaster - I have to repeat it again and again. Word plugin needs to be restarted each time I add something new. Settings in the app became both too primitive and user-unfriendly. Summing up, all the three parts of this mendeley system, INCLUDING this extension, work awful. I still believe there can be an improvement, and I am only continue working with mendeley because of my faith and 100500 articles in my library. |

The extension is buggy, but the main problem is that the company that owns Mendeley has destroyed the service. Where is the iOS App? Why did they removed it? Why is there no more support for Mendeley Desktop version? The new web-based version of the application is just horrible and doesn't allow for in-text search among different papers only in 1 paper that is open. This was one the most important features in the desktop version! Moreover, i'm paying them for the storage but there is no support at all, they only communicate through their stupid positive messages without being able to answer on anything related to the usage of the app. Mendeley team, you basically destroyed the workflow of so many people in academia. |
