This extension provides aid for the visually handicapped.

It uses the Audio API and a Text-To-Speech service to read website text on click on it.
Additionaly, it enhances contrast of images using Canvas post-processing (thanks to Pixastic library, under Mozilla Public Licence).

To toggle reader on/off click to speaker icon on extensions toolbar. If turned on you need to click on text paragraph and wait to audio.

This extension will use build in (in Chrome) speech engine so it may not be available in your native language.

I think it should give us a choise for "not to read quotation mark and reference numbers". Because if there are a lot quotation mark or reference numbers, the sentence is broken.

Doesn't do anything at all for me, no idea how to get it to work. Yes I restarted Chrome.

It didn't work while I had it added to chrome, and then after I removed it, it was working and I couldn't turn it off.
