Best of the Renamers available: the visible field is the longest, on opening already presents the default title of the active tab so it does not have to be pasted in, and the new name can be pasted or typed in without having to highlight the default name. Wish the tab could retain its new name after restart but I suspect that would be impossible due to Chrome design - not an oversight of the developer. However, the tab with the new name can be bookmarked, and it will retain that new name as a bookmark even after restarts. Would have to give up Vivaldi and go back to Firefox without this add-on's function, and that would be very sad.

I installed this, but it seems to do nothing. How am I supposed to access it? No right-click popout menu, no separate extension icon… and no instructions on the extension's page here on the Chrome Web Store. As far as I can tell it does nothing. Removed.

It works with some limitations:
- The input field is easier to work with; it is longer than that of most other renamer extensions, and upon opening it already presents the default title of the active tab so it can be easily modified or replaced.
- Too bad the renamed title will not persist after reloading the tab, or after restarting the browser; all you can do is to bookmark it with your new title and it will remain there renamed; however, clicking on the bookmark will cause the tab revert back to the original, default title.
