I wanted to test Chrome OS Flex on some of our devices so I went through the tedious task of installing the recovery utility, downloading the OS image, unpacking, writing, verifying ... ERRR ... every time, every device, same useless message. Well, if that's an indication of what to expect from Chrome OS Flex in future you can !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it. |

This Chromebook Recovery Utility did not work for Acer Chromebook 15 (CB5-571), which was on the list. I thought it might be my error, so I was determined to give it a try three times following instructions from the beginning to the end..."An unexpected error has occurred. Please refer in the URL for troubleshooting tips." It's a LOOP to nowhere. |

When I tried using a windows ISO file to re-image my windows computer and it broke the USB. I tried using windows CMD to format it and it didn't work. When I plugged it into my chromebook, nothing would show up. |
