Effectively useless. It does nothing what the developer claims. There's a "copy clean link location" in the context menu which doesn't copy the link, nevermind a clean link. Try it out yourself and you'll see.

I copy a link but it still s hows the hidden or shortened link 99.99% of the time. The extension should automatically copy the link in your clipboard and clean it, but no it doesn't. Even when you copy a link and it sends you to a webpage (you need to have the extension installed to access the webpage) it rarely cleans it. I have to use a URL "revealer" to see and go to the actual link. If anyone finds this extension works they are either lying, using it on very simple urls, or friends (missionaries) of the developer. Uninstalled.

Check the bug report I opened here https://github.com/ClearURLs/Addon/issues/148 this is a huge deal breaker that messed up my flow until I tried out "Neat URL" instead.

Neat URL doesn't have any bugs I've encountered, but the built-in filter isn't as powerful and I also haven't figured out how to make the custom filter work.
