Just what I needed. Required a refresh at start but when it started it worked flawlessly. Just one thing to note if you move away from that window it won't work, and you need to keep scrolling slowly while it's deleting. |

Works fairly well. I needed to clean out our General channel because we were adding some external members to our workspace and the general channel had some internal messages. I paid for the admin version and the flaw I ran into was that it wouldn't delete thread messages. (It deleted the main messages, but not sub-messages, it would get 'stuck' every time there was a thread). I had to pause the process and manually delete the messages in the thread. Luckily it didn't take toooo long, but for $50, I expected it to automate the whole process. |

pro tip: zoom out to 25% and/or use "custom page zoom" to make it auto as possible. may burn your cpu and memoy though. |

It works for me (free version), but it's painfully slow. However, slow is better than the "not at all" option offered by slack themselves, so thank you for this extension. We used it to clean out the #general channel (which my group used as the main chat channel.. I know, bad choice) to add another team in on the server. Fortunately a small group we are, so we each went through over a couple of hours and scrolled our way through the deletion. |

Free version is useless, paid version is not far behind and a rip off. Just use completely free, highly customizable open-sourced `slack-cleaner` from Github. |
