Auto Collapse makes the tab bar less distracting by collapsing all unfocused Tab Groups (the feature introduced in Chrome 89).
When you click on an ungrouped tab or a tab within one group, all other tab groups get collapsed.

Works as described and can be useful. I would love to be able to limit the collapse to just one window, instead of all Chrome windows. When using multiple monitors with multiple windows and groups, I often want to look at 2 different windows at the same time. It would be helpful to only collapse groups within one window, not across all windows, thus keeping one group expanded in each window at all times. |
